WELCOME TO FRUITA!

Fruita Colorado is one of the best kept not-so-secret-anymore ride destinations in the Western US. Sample stunning desert topography with slick rock, junipers, & cliffside views of the muddy Colorado River.

Fruita is nestled in the farthest reaches of the western slope of Colorado and sits quaintly at the base of the Grand Mesa - the world's largest flat top mountain range. Flanked by eroding sandstone mesas on one side, thriving fruit orchards on another, and, after years of the city rebranding themselves as a mountain bike destination, hundreds of miles of singletrack.

Enjoy the ancient rock pillars of the Colorado National Monument, the ribbony buff of classic rides at 18-Road trails, the stunningly beautiful and technical challenges of  Horsethief Bench, Lunch Loops, and Kokopelli trails. Top it all off with a visit to the Hot Tomato Cafe - possibly the most iconic post-ride hangout in the US...and the pizza's pretty freckin' to boot.

What to expect

Technical singletrack, rippin' descents, & epic open views

Day 1

Guests arrive to a huge lunch spread to enjoy while everyone gets bikes dialed. At midday we'll kickoff a weekend of riding at Fruita's iconic 18 Road trail system featuring a great mixture of tech and flow to get you familiarized with riding in the Grand Valley. We'll ride hot laps until our legs are toast and we're ready for some well-deserved R&R. After riding, get ready for a tour of historic Moon Farm followed by a stunning dinner curated by Whole Foods ambassador Lentine Alexis.

Ride: 8-15 miles, 500-1,600 feet climbing.

Day 2

After a filling and delicious breakfast, we'll load into shuttles and head over to Grand Junction to ride some of the region's most iconic trails at Lunch Loops. Be ready for stunning vistas, techy singletrack, and quick fun descents. Lunch will be served trailside, after which guests can opt for more riding or head back to Fruita for an extended visit (aka beer o'clock) at The Hot Tomato. Our professional mechanics will lead an optional evening tech & gear clinic with dinner and campfire kumbaya to follow.

Ride: 10-18 miles, 900-2200 ft climbing.

Day 3

Our final day of riding will be riders choice with plenty of spicy (and chill!) trail options. After breakfast we'll head out for a fun-filled day of riding at Kokopeli with gorgeous views of the Colorado River and some of our favorite routes in the country. Lunch will be served trailside, with plenty of leaders around to hit the trails afterward for round 2 should you feel the need to ride until your legs fall off. This is our final day together, so we'll pack up, hug it out, & send you home most likely grinning ear to ear.

Ride: 8-15 miles, 900-1,800 feet climbing.

"This was the raddest weekend, riding the raddest trails, with the raddest ladies!!! The ladies at Roam know how to go above and beyond to make sure all you have to worry about is riding your bike, hanging out with awesome people, and eating delicious food. It completely exceeded all of my expectations and I had extremely high expectations.
